- Lough Neagh Eel fishing must be protectedSpeaking after a recent visit to the Lough Neagh Fishermen's Cooperative at Toomebridge where he met with the chairman of the Cooperative, Father Oliver Kennedy, Conservatives and Unionists MEP Jim Nicholson said that the highly thought of tradition of eel fishing on Lough Neagh has a long history and rich heritage that must be protected for future generations to enjoy.
